Conventional vitamin D is made from the wool wax of sheep. We use only natural and vegan vitamin D rich BIO yeast powder.
Wild mushrooms that are exposed to sunlight naturally contain high levels of vitamin D. However, industrially cultivated mushrooms such as champignons or yeast are very low in vitamin D because they lack sunlight. At “Schloss Tempelhof” we have developed a natural process to reenrich mushrooms with vitamin D through UV light.

Dr. Paul Urbain and Stefan Schwarzer have jointly launched the project “Vital Capsules IMMUN+ Vitamin D” at “Schloss Tempelhof”.
Mr. Urbain is a nutritionist and has dedicated many years of his research work at the University Medical Centre Freiburg to the topic of “vitamin D and mushrooms”. In 2011, he was able to demonstrate for the first time the bioavailability and effectiveness of vitamin D from UV-irradiated and thus vitamin D-rich mushrooms in humans.
Mr Schwarzer is a geographer and permaculture designer and designs the permaculture garden at “Schloss Tempelhof”. He is responsible for the cultivation and harvesting of the organic medicinal herbs used. Among other things, Mr Schwarzer writes books and organises symposia on the subject of “Regenerative Agriculture“.
As part of the ecovillage “Schloss Tempelhof” we produce these unique and very high quality vitality capsules.
Permaculture-Garden: Origin of the 5 organic medicinal herbs
The organic medicinal herbs grow in the permaculture garden, which is part of our ecological, resource-building agriculture.
Production process
The freshly harvested medicinal herbs are then taken to our own drying facility. The plants are gently dried at about 40°C so that the ingredients are preserved.
At „Schloss Tempelhof“, we have developed a patented process to re-enrich mushrooms such as yeast with vitamin D using UV light. The BIO yeast powder used is illuminated for a few seconds with 2 different wavelengths of UV light. Then one sample per batch is sent to the laboratory for vitamin D analysis.

Ingredients & Effect
For the IMMUN+ Vitamin D capsules, 5 proven and well-known, native medicinal herbs, with antibacterial and antiviral active agents, were selected from our permaculture garden. The capsules are supplemented by vitamin D rich organic yeast powder, produced on our own in a natural process.

Description & Dosage
IMMUN+ Vitamin D Capsules are a food supplement with 90 capsules per jar. The capsules, each containing 610 mg, contain the following ingredients:
- BIO vitamin D yeast (435 mg)
- BIO sage herb (35 mg)
- BIO horseradish leaves (35 mg)
- BIO ribwort leaves (35mg)
- BIO Nettle herb (35mg)
- BIO Deadnettle herb (35mg)
- Capsule shell: Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC)
Vitamin D2 content
1,500 IU (37 µg) corresponds to 750% of the daily intake according to the Food Information Regulation, whereby with a daily intake of 1 capsule the safe maximum daily dose for adults is by far not exceeded (37%).
Recommended consumption
Take 1 capsule daily with sufficient water.
Allergens
Wheat gluten: May contain traces of gluten! The BIO yeast used is bred on BIO wheat and serves as feed for the yeast fungi. The yeast itself does not contain gluten, but the yeast manufacturer cannot 100% exclude the possibility that traces of gluten are contained in the yeast powder supplied. Therefore, we are not allowed to declare the product as gluten-free.
